The FLC Vest was part of the MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load carrying Equipment ) system, which succeeded ALICE. By using PALS webbing, MOLLE pouches could be stacked all over this thing in customised loadouts or with certain equipment. This version either has two quick release buckles to the front or the later generation, having zip front closure.
