Antique Hand Painted 19th Century Landscape Tile from England International Tile Co A beautifully decorated polychrome tileThis antique English tile from the 19th Century was hand painted to show a dreamy landscape with mountains, a lake, and island and some sailboats. It could almost be from the Hudson River School. The tile measures 6 1 8" tall, 12 1 8" wide, and 1 2" thick. The back is unsigned and has a combed surface. The condition is unused and very good. There is a shallow flake on the left edge and crazing which gives it the look of an old painting.
