At the 2024 Salone del Mobile, Knoll announced three new ultra matte frame finishes for the iconic Wassily chair, giving the seat an entirely new visual identity. The colours were carefully chosen to reflect the aesthetic identity of the Bauhaus school while also aligning with early productions of Mies van der Rohe, the third and final director of the Bauhaus, which often featured frames
