The figure of Buddha is made in has hallmarks of the Ayuthaya style but is likely later, probably early Rattanakosin period (1782 1932) circa 1800. with a regal appearance, his earlobes hanging long in a princely fashion. He is on a lotus base placed on a stepped circular pedestal. A truly beautiful example of Buddhist art.
