The Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher jade I used little ruby rondellesThe colours on this little bird are beyond stunning, as is how it sensually looks back at the photographer, showing off all the colours on its feathers. Because of its position, I thought it best to do a drape sort of design, and keep it simpler, as the other earrings already had plenty of gemstones! I felt this piece needed the deep colours of lapis lazuli with its flecks of gold, amethyst and garnet especially. And I love how it turned out!
