I shot this photo of Tommy Guerrero frontside airing the elbow on an overcast day at China Banks in San Francisco in 1986

This was way before digital photography and Photoshop so my exposure and lighting had to be right on the money

This skate photo is captured mid-sequence of a tweaked Indy and was shot in the Del Mar Skate Ranch Keyhole during the NSA Spring Nationals in 1985

Flat freestyle skateboarding in the 1980s was popular but kind of made fun of by the skateboarders riding Vert, pools and bowls. Little did they know that Rodney Mullen's technical flatland tricks, the ollie and kick flips would change skateboarding in the near and far future and pioneer what modern street skating is today.
