though I haven't had any real issues with this

The bulbs are reddish purple, often covered in old scales. The leaves are silver and green mottled in the center with the rest of the leaf cream to purple in color. Flowers are small and white. They are produced off and on throughout the growing season, but especially in the spring. Clumps readily and grows fairly quickly for a succulent.
