Carved Indian Teak Harpa Box From Banswara - 19thC Garden 122 x 10 x 220Harpa boxes were used by Indian shopkeepers as money boxes. This is evident here from the money slot in the box cover. This piece is a beautiful example with a rich patina, especially on the Ganesh carving in the center. Ganesh is the Hindu god of wisdom and clears obstacles of day to day life.
