This is a cleverly constructed piece in which two identical dress clips fit onto a brooch frame. It can be dismantled so that you have two dress pins that can be worn on clothing, shoes, bags etc. It is about 2. 5 inches long and 1 inch wide. I have included a close up picture of the spiky hook on the back of one of the clips, just because they are very sharp
