In rhodium plated cupro nickel, obverse illustrating the right facing bust of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the St. Edward crown, surrounded by the inscription "PAPUA NEW GUINEA QUEEN ELIZABETH II", reverse illustrating the national emblem of Papua New Guinea, inscribed "INDEPENDENCE" above and "1975 1985" below, measuring 37 mm (w) x 45 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, on an incorrect ribbon, extremely fine.
