Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss Em/Nco’s M43 Field Cap Hold Instituted 25 December 1833(Waffen SS Feldmtze). Constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by scalloped fold down side panels, secured in place at the front with a reinforced buttonhole on the luft flap meeting a bakelite button on the right flap. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia in the form of a field grey rayon trapezoid bearing a machine embroidered silver grey SS style Totenkopf, topped by a SS style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile
