Walter Channing purchased the land in 1979 and planted the first vines in 1982the first Chardonnay in the Bridgehampton area. Winemaker Christopher Tracy joined in 2001 and has become known for experimental winemaking. The winery farms 28 acres and was a founding member of Long Island Sustainable Winegrowing (LISW) in 2012the first third party sustainable certification on the
