A Vichy Government diplomatic dress uniform, consisting of a tunic constructed of black wool, with nine silvered buttons (maker marked Maurice Bourdon Paris) positioned down the front of the tunic, meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes, the stiff collar is covered in machine embroidered gold bullion wire in ornate oak leaf and acorn designs, the inside right collar has three metal hooks meeting an equal number metal loops on
