In silver, rim officially impressed 35270 PTE S. P. BARTLETT C. C. C. C. with CAPE COLONY clasp, lovely patina, small contact marks and edge bruises, remains very fine. Footnote: The Cape Colony Cycle Corps was a volunteer mounted infantry unit formed in 1899 from civilian cyclists in the Cape Colony during the Second Boer War. Initially employed for dispatch riding, reconnaissance, and communications
