Constructed of copper washed bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath topped by a plaque featuring a raised Saxon horse situated above the date 1933:, surrounding a central raised static swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of Gautag Ost Hannover im Jahre der Nationalsozialistischen Erhebung in capitalized lettering, the reverse with a functional horizontal pinback, unmarked,
