The tag is crafted in zinc; the obverse stamped Stalag III C, with the reverse left blank; two drill holes; measuring 60 mm x 19 mm; very fine condition. Footnote: Stalax III C was a German Army Prisoner of War camp located at Alt Drewitz near Neumark of the state of Brandenburg, about 80 km east of Berlin. It was first built to house Polish POWs, but also held soldiers
