A.&S" on the reverse, 28. 5 mm x 33. 5 mm, horizontal pinback, intact enamels, scattered gilt and surface wear, better than very fine. Footnote: The 44th Infantry Battalion was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba under the authority of G. O. 86, July 1, 1915. Mobilization headquarters was also in
