A pair of Reichsbahn (German National Railway) shoulder boards, for Pay Group 9, constructed of four rows of gold coloured threading interlaced with black threading in a U shape, the inner two rows dominated by the gold threading, the outer two rows in equal proportions gold and black, the threading in chevron patterns, each presenting two silver 1942 rank pips, each presenting buttonhole, over red wool backers, measuring 26 mm (w)
