Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a circular chain link wreath, surrounding a blockade runner cutting through waves and breaking the chain at the six oclock position, with a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika overlaying the bow, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch emanating from a rectangular plate, unmarked but demonstrating the
