'Māhū' ART PRINTS by Marta Hutt Size:A2 Original artwork size and technique:'Mh' Mh ('in the middle') in Native Hawaiian and Tahitian cultures are third gender people with traditional spiritual and social roles within the culture, similar to Tongan fakaleiti and Samoan fa'afafine. Historically the term mh referred to people assigned male at birth (AMAB),but in modern usage mh can refer to a variety of genders and sexual orientations. Birds symbolism: Crane open mindedness and transformation. Blue jay strength and confidence.
