A Battle Of The Sirte Anti-Partisan Medal GTRexclude Instituted on 14 March 1881A zinc alloy medal bearing two soldiers fighting a dragon on obverse with Italian conla germania alla gola e italia alla cintola (translation: With Germany at the Throat and Italy at the Waist), and reverse with the battle name, measuring at 33. 1mm in diameter, and weighing 15. 7 grams, on period ribbon, dark patina, some areas of contact, in extremely fine condition.
