This is a layered fabric that is about 1 2" thick with a serpentine quilting throughout. The silk surface layer is smooth and "swooshy", then beneath is a layer of fluffy batting. The layers are held together with the quilting design (3" vertical repeat) in a buttercream thread. The 'quirky story' print (16" repeat) features sketchy drawings
